I think there was trouble even getting access to the puzzle yesterday, so the focus was not there.

Sorry about the verification thing -- it's temporary. I got a slew of spam, some of it salicious, and got tired of deleting it -- I mean, there were around a dozen a day (all on one post dated in May) -- sooooo...
I don't get enough comments to justify putting up with the deluge that was being sent from the spammers.

Maybe later in the week I'll test to see if I can remove the vertification "thang".

man! the links you give us are so much fun. i can't even pick a favorite out of this batch. somewhere between the the 5-star general article, the snail picture, and the big band video there must be a favorite.

...or maybe it was the combo of the poem and the red fire truck video.
