YOU’LL GET THROUGH THIS,
Puzzle by Jeremy Newton and Tony Orbach
Edited by Will Shortz

Sixteen irritating miniature crossword puzzles linked by fifteen imaginary “doors” constitutes this overly complex Sunday crossword, a tedious and unrewarding solve regardless of it’s imaginative afterthought. There is no joy in solving these sixteen little stingy crosswords with scant relationship to one another. It’s just all stop and start while searching for some thoughtful wordplay, being abandoned to a look-what-we-did game of hopscotch nonsense. Clever, yes. Fun, no!  Links to gushing praise from The Club — The Times, the Fiend and Rex.  Patrick Merrell’s diagram, HERE.

“Every wall is a door” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson.
